Michael joined Sterling & Law Associates LLP in April 2017 as an intern. After successfully completing his internship, Michael joined the team on a permanent basis.
Michael’s background is in law, having successfully completed his LLB in 2014 with an upper-second class honours degree. Michael then went on to complete an LLM in Human Right/ Public International Law, graduating in 2016 with a Merit.
Michael has a particular interest in asylum and humanitarian protection cases as well as cases that raise complex human rights issues. However, during his time at both university and since joining Sterling & Law Associates LLP he had developed knowledge in a wide range of immigration issues.
Since joining the firm Michael has gained experience working on complex immigration matters and appeals to both the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal while assisting Oksana Demyanchuk. Michael has a thorough and meticulous approach to his work and always strives to provide the best possible assistance to clients.
