Sterling Law Advises Humanoid (SKL Robotics Ltd) on $152 Million Series A at $1.35 Billion Valuation

Sterling Law Advises Humanoid (SKL Robotics Ltd) on $152 Million Series A at $1.35 Billion Valuation

    13.08.2026

London, UK — 12 August 2026 — Sterling Law is pleased to have acted as legal counsel to Humanoid (SKL Robotics Ltd), the UK-based AI and robotics company building industrial humanoid robots, on its $152 million Series A financing at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation. The round, which brings Humanoid’s total capital raised to date to $270 million, establishes the company as Europe’s first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn.

The financing was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures. It ranks among the largest Series A rounds ever completed by a humanoid-first robotics company in Europe.

Sterling Law’s Corporate Advisory team, led by Ilia Martynov, advised on the transaction, supporting the company across the Series A funding round. The mandate reflects the firm’s growing practice at the intersection of deep technology, venture capital, and cross-border investment.

Founded by Artem Sokolov in 2024, Humanoid has grown to more than 250 engineers, researchers, and innovators, with offices in London, Boston, Vancouver, and San Diego. The new capital will fund development of the company’s next-generation humanoid platform, long-term commercial deployments across logistics, manufacturing, and retail beginning in Q4 2026, the start of mass manufacturing of wheel-based robots, and continued development of its proprietary AI system, KinetIQ.

Ruslan Kosarenko, Senior Partner at Sterling Law, said:

“Huge congratulations to the Humanoid team on a remarkable result and becoming the very first humanoid robotics unicorn of Europe. Advising on this round was a genuine pleasure, and I’m grateful for the trust they placed in us. Rarely does a transaction of this ambition come together so efficiently – a credit to a team that is decisive, open, and a real pleasure to work with. We’re proud to have played our part, and we wish them every success ahead.”

Sterling Law’s involvement underscores the firm’s commitment to supporting high-growth technology companies as they scale from early-stage innovation to global commercial deployment.
