British citizenship has been approved in less than 1,5 months
The normal processing time for British citizenship applications is up to 6 months, and most often, the defined period reaches the limit. The hope for a quick outcome most often remains a hope.
This case for British citizenship, which immigration specialist Alexandra Mokrova conducted, was distinguished not only by the amazing speed, which we associate with the utmost professionalism in preparing the case but also by a number of complexities in relation to the applicant’s change of surname, which was successfully addressed when applying.
The problem was that the applicant used different names in their documents (which is not normally recommended) due to the fact that they continued to use their maiden name, including in their passport, as well as their surname through marriage.
What did we do? Our main task was to argue to the Home Office that there is no need to unify documents so that the holder has the same surname for all applications. Alexandra’s team succeeded in the case and, in a surprisingly short time, the applicant was granted British citizenship.
