Stanislav Podyachev is a Director of Crypto Asset Protection at Sterling Law, where he focuses on complex disputes involving cryptocurrency exchanges and other virtual asset service providers, particularly those involving frozen or blocked cryptoassets. He combines over 15 years of experience in banking, financial services and digital transformation with a strong academic background in economics and law, allowing him to bridge the gap between innovative technologies and traditional regulatory frameworks.
Stanislav holds a Ph.D. in economics, a Specialist degree in Law, a Master’s in Banking and Finance, and a Master’s in Public Administration. Before joining Sterling Law, he headed regional departments at several banks, chaired a real-sector company, and advised organisations on digital transformation and data‑driven management, gaining hands‑on experience in risk, compliance, and stakeholder management in highly regulated environments.
