About Iryna:

Iryna is a paralegal with international experience in both common and civil law jurisdictions. Her background has prepared her to handle complex legal challenges in litigation, commercial, and corporate matters. She earned her LLB from Kyiv National University of Taras Shevchenko and is now furthering her expertise in the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) program.

Iryna began her legal career with internships at prominent Ukrainian public authorities, including the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the District Courts of Lviv. Iryna joined our team with valuable experience in providing legal support to start-up projects, including crypto lending platforms and the first Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange, Kuna. She has been involved in various stages of business development, from starting new projects to working on advanced solutions. Her work has included helping launch mining operations, supporting crypto lending platforms, and contributing to the development of crypto-based gaming projects. These experiences have given her a clear understanding of the challenges businesses face in these fast-changing industries and the legal solutions needed to support them.

Since joining Sterling in June 2024, Iryna has been involved in a variety of commercial and litigation matters, including arbitration cases, and corporate legal matters. Her role has included providing strategic assistance in disputes, supporting arbitration proceedings, and advising on corporate transactions, ensuring comprehensive and effective solutions for clients with a few already successful cases on her count.
